Russia to allocate funds under UN World Food Program to help Ukrainians

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Russia will allocate funds to help Ukrainian citizens under the United Nations World Food Program, Russia’s Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said on Thursday.

He said it was Russia’s government decision. “The Russian government has taken a decision to allocate funds under the UN World Food Program to help people living in all of Ukraine’s regions,” he stressed.

Puchkov also said Russia was helping Ukraine’s eastern regions and refugees fleeing the conflict zone. “Temporary accommodation centers were organized in 76 Russian regions, Russia has been sending humanitarian convoys to people living in conflict-torn Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” he said.
