Police detain suspect in hoax bomb threats to Moscow airports

The suspect is currently being questioned

MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. A man suspected of sending hoax bomb threats to three Moscow’s airports have been detained, a spokesman for the Russian interior ministry’s central federal district transport department told TASS on Monday.

"On Monday, police received reports about bomb threat calls from three Moscow’s airports, namely Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo. All the three airports were checked. No explosive devices were found. The police have identified the caller. He is currently being questioned," the spokesman said.

A source in the law enforcement agencies told TASS that the man probably has psychiatric problems. The police are checking whether he is registered with any mental health facility.
