Russia to analyze Venezuela’s proposal on setting transport hub in Caracas

Earlier Russia's deputy prime minister also hashed over development of air traffic and cooperation in the civil aviation area with Cuba

SOCHI, November 24. /TASS/. Russia will review the proposal made by Venezuela to create a transport hub in Caracas, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Friday.

"We spoke today about the need of thinking in the field of supplies about an integrated approach and potential creation of a transport hub addressing the unique geographical position of Caracas. We will analyze your proposal," Rogozin said.

Earlier Russia also talked with Cuba on development of air traffic and cooperation in the civil aviation area, Rogozin said.

"What you suggested today is fully matching the logic of talks with Cuban colleagues," the official said. Growth of turnover with Venezuela can be achieved by supplying Russia’s SSJ 100 and MC-21 passenger jets to this country, Rogozin added.
