Russia completes delivery of Yak-130 fighter trainers to Bangladesh

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Russia completed delivery of Yak-130 fighter trainers to Bangladesh, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation told TASS on Wednesday.

"Delivery of these aircraft to the People's Republic of Bangladesh was completed in 2016," the Federal Service said.

The contract for supply of 16 Yak-130 aircraft to Bangladesh was made in 2014.

Yak-130 is a two-seat fighter trainer of a new generation, intended for combat training of flying personnel and combat use in simple and IFR weather conditions against airborne and ground targets.
