Medvedev requests Finance Ministry to amend 2017 budget

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has requested the Finance Ministry and State Duma deputies to amend the draft budget for next year before its consideration in the second reading, to factor in expenses on priority national projects

"First, as has been agreed, it is necessary to amend the draft budget before the second reading, to distribute the reserved funds to particular projects. I’m asking the Finance Ministry in cooperation with deputies to deal with it," PM said at the government meeting on Thursday.

According to Medvedev, substantial expenses have been earmarked for national projects.
