MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russia and Iran are going to hold consultations on November 23 in Teheran on the abolition of visas for group tours, Yevgeny Ivanov, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Consular Department told TASS on Thursday.
"Russian-Iranian consultations where we’ll discuss a draft agreement on visa-free group tours will take place in Teheran on November 23," he said.
"The draft has been handed to the Iranian side for scrutiny and we have received certain remarks and corrections from them," Ivanov said.
"We’ll continue refining the text in a hope that work on it will be brought to completion shortly and we’ll put up for signing," he said.
"A full abolition of visas between Russia and Iran is still off the agenda," Ivanov said.
