TEHRAN, October 3. /TASS/.Iran passed the milestone of producing 4 mln barrels of oil per day, Chief Executive of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor told IRNA news agency on Monday.
"We are currently under pressure in terms of oil production volumes. Nevertheless, we managed to overcome the 4-million [oil] production threshold despite complicated and intensive talks," the top manager said.
Iran was reported to produce 3.6-3.8 mln barrels per day in June - July. Iran will not participate in oil production freeze talks until it reaches the pre-sanction production level of 4-4.2 mln barrels daily, Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said at that time.
