MOSCOW, September 14. /TASS/. Russia’s Economic Development Ministry keeps its inflation forecast for September at the level of 0.2-0.3% on a monthly basis. In annual terms, inflation in September will be 6.5-6.6%, an official with the ministry told TASS.

"The forecast has been kept in the range of 0.2-0.3% month-on-month and 6.5-6.6% year-on-year," the official said.

The first forecast for inflation in September that contained the same assessment was announced by the ministry a week ago.

On Wednesday, the Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported that from September 6 to 12, weekly inflation in the country was at a zero level for the third week in a row

According to Rosstat since the beginning of the year prices have grown by 3.9%, while inflation on an annualized basis declined to 6.6/% as of September 12.
