HANGZHOU, September 5. /TASS/. Egypt values success in economic cooperation with Russia and seeks to develop relations, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said at talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of a G20 summit.
"We highly value concrete success we have managed to achieve over the recent years in bilateral cooperation," he said. "In particular, this year we have already signed an agreement for the construction of a nuclear power plant at Dabaa," the Egyptian leader said, adding that Russia’s Rosatom atomic energy corporation has already started work.
"I want to mark constant contacts between the ministries of industry of the two countries on establishing Egyptian-Russian industrial zones, which are aimed at bringing our partnership to a new level," the president said.
He also thanked the Russian leader for an opportunity to meet, saying Cairo remains committed to developing ties with Russia.
