Gazprom boosts gas export to non-CIS countries in eight months

Russian gas export to non-CIS countries rose 9.7% year-on-year in eight months of 2016

MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. Gazprom increased natural gas export to non-CIS countries by 9.7% year-on-year in eight months of 2016, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian gas holding Alexei Miller said on Thursday.

"According to preliminary data, Russian gas export to non-CIS countries rose 9.7% year-on-year in eight months of 2016. Growth is about 10 bln cubic meters in absolute terms. This is comparable with Gazprom’s deliveries in 2015 to such a large market as the French one," Miller said.
