Novatek CEO announces plans to use the second tranche on Sberbank and Gazprombank loans within a month

ST. PETERSBURG, June 16. /TASS/. Novatek is not considering listing on Asian bourses, CEO and co-owner of the company Leonid Mikhelson said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2016) on Thursday.

"Why? No," he said when asked whether Novatek is considering listing on Asian stocks.

Plans to use second tranche on Sberbank, Gazprombank loans

Novatek plans to use the second tranche on Sberbank and Gazprombank loans within a month, CEO and co-owner of the company Leonid Mikhelson said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2016) on Thursday.

"We’ve used the first tranche. I think within a month," he said when asked when the company may use the second tranche.

In April, Novatek signed agreements on raising funds for its Yamal-LNG project with Russian and Chinese banks. In end-May Mikhelson said Novatek expected to receive financing for the Yamal LNG project a month later from Chinese banks and shortly from Russian banks.
