SOCHI, May 19. /TASS/. The volume of Russian-ASEAN joint information technology market totals around $100 bln per year, Russian Deputy Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications Alexey Volin said on Thursday.

"We estimate joint Russian-ASEAN market of information technology at about $100 bln a year," Volin said.

According to Volin, Russia is ready to discuss with partners from the ASEAN countries establishing services for the online sale of Russian cinema and video. "Internet is well developed in the ASEAN countries, with very active Internet users. Therefore, the organization of services on-demand is one of the more serious of our activities in this region," Volin said.

According to him, another area of ··cooperation is the development of digital television technology.
