Moldova and Russia's Gazprom extend gas supply contract for 2016 — Moldovagaz

The agreement for Russian gas transit to the Balkans was concurrently extended

CHISINAU, December 31. /TASS/. The contract for Russian gas supplies to Moldova has been extended until December 31, 2016. Moldovagaz and Russian gas holding Gazprom have reached a relevant agreement, the Moldovan gas distributing company said on Thursday.

The agreement for Russian gas transit to the Balkans was concurrently extended, Moldovagaz said.

According tothe reached agreement, the gas price is reviewed quarterly on the basis of a special formula addressing fuel price dynamics on the global market. Molfova imported gas at $210.2 per 1,000 cubic meters in the third quarter of 2015.
