MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Europe is concerned about too much politically charged disputes around the Turkish Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline projects, Secretary General of Eurogas (the association representing the European gas wholesale, retail and distribution sectors) Beate Raabe said on Tuesday.
Discussions around the Nord Stream 2 and South Stream (Turkish Stream) have become very politicized, and in this respect the gas sector is not at ease as Europe needs infrastructure, she said.
According to Raabe, Europe should diversify gas supply sources while many projects are still open to question due to the current geopolitical environment.
