BUDAPEST, November 30. /TASS/. Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom intends to sign foreign contracts for the construction of 30-40 new nuclear power plant units, first Deputy Head of the state corporation Kirill Komarov said on Monday.

He was speaking at the Atomex-Europe forum in Budapest, Hungary. The forum is sponsored by the Rosatom - International Network company.
"We see signing of contracts for the construction of 30-40 new reactors in the next 5 years as an ambitious but achievable goal", he said.
Komarov said that in the beginning of 2015, the corporation’s 10-year portfolio of foreign contracts amounted to $101.4 billion. This includes both contracts to build nuclear power plants and contracts on providing equipment and services.
"The contracts for the construction of units, which are already under construction, total more than $300 billion," Komarov said.
He added that approximately the same number can be obtained through the provision of services throughout the whole life cycle of nuclear power plants.
