MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Hungary lowered reverse supplies of natural gas to Ukraine from April 1, the Hungarian gas transport system operator FGSZ Ltd said on Monday.
According to the operator’s data, reverse supplies declined to 990,000 cubic meters a day from April 1 and to 690,000 cubic meters a day from April 3 as compared to 5 mln cubic meters exported daily at the end of March. Deliveries have thus declined sevenfold.
Reverse supplies of Hungary to Ukraine totaled 2.4 mln cubic meters a day early in March.
Hungary resumed reverse gas supplies to Ukraine after the winter break. Ukraine imported 146.9 mln cubic meters of natural gas from Hungary in March 2015.
The Ukrainian gas pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz reported earlier Gazprom increased natural gas supplies to Hungary through Ukraine.
