KIEV, March 6. /TASS/. The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Governor Valeriya Gontareva does not intend to resign as demanded by a number of members of Ukraine’s parliament Verkhovna Rada, the regulator’s press service reported Friday.
"Rumors on my resignation are groundless," the report quoted Gontareva as saying.
Earlier on Friday NBU Governor presented a report in the parliament on the key indicators of the country’s economy. However, the presentation was derailed by members of the Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko who demanded Gontareva to immediately resign.
