This year, it will be necessary to support enterprises, which intend to keep or expand output, and upgrade or create new production facilities, Dmitry Medvedev said

GORKI, January 19. /TASS/. The Russian government has prepared anti-crisis measures in industry, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday.

“The anti-crisis measures designed to stimulate the demand for competitive products, keep production volumes and ease the most acute problems in industry have also been prepared,” the premier said at a government meeting.

“We’ll discuss them [today],” the premier said.

Many Russian enterprises have been able to keep positive output dynamics, despite negative developments on international markets, the premier said.

“This year, it will be necessary to support enterprises, which intend to keep or expand output, and upgrade or create new production facilities,” Medvedev said.

The Russian government will also elaborate measures for import substitution and “an action plan in this sphere is already clear,” the premier said.

The Russian government will also specify some earlier decisions, proceeding from current developments, the premier said.
