VLADIVOSTOK, September 6 (Itar-Tass) - Russia will deliver Sukhoi Superjets 100 (SSJ-100) to Vietnam.
The agreement was concluded during a meeting of the Russian-Vietnamese intergovernmental commission in Vladivostok on Saturday, the Russian economic minister’s press secretary Viktor Yevtukhov said after the meeting, giving no number of planes to be delivered.
“The talks were long. I hope Vietnamese airlines will fly reliable Russian planes soon,” the official said.
The Russian-Vietnamese commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation during its meeting in Vladivostok on Saturday also agreed on direct regular air service between Vladivostok and Vietnam. The agreement was signed by the company International Airport of Vladivostok and Vietnam’s airlines.
The direct flights will be in the schedule beginning next winter, airport director-general Igor Lukin said.
