MOSCOW, May 30. /ITAR-TASS/. The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will allow Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus to reach a higher integration level securing free movement of goods and services, capitals and manpower, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council parliament upper house committee Sergei Shatirov said on Friday in comments on the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty which the presidents of the three countries signed on Thursday.

The Russian senator noted importance of EEU prospect for shaping a common market. “The EEU Treaty will give additional opportunities of co-operation for business of our countries as a common regulatory legal base will be drafted within the EEU, stock exchange trade will be organized, a clearing centre and other bodies of management will be set up,” he added.

Today we are creating together a powerful and attractive centre of economic development, a major regional market which brings together more than 170 million people. Vladimir Putin President of the Russian Federation Shatirov also noted that within the EEU, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus will create a competitive and fast-moving common electric power market, which, according to estimates of experts, can cover the electric power demand of the three countries and make use of energy capacities more effective. He added that a common market of hydrocarbon resources and a common gas delivery system will be created within the EEU.
