VLADIVOSTOK, January 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Preparation is nearing completion in Primorsky Territory (PT) for the development of two major deposits. This said Ivan Tirskhikh, director of the department of industry and transport on Friday during an online conference on the website of the PT administration.
Tirskhikh said it is planned to build an ore dressing factory on the basis of the Skrytoye (hidden) deposit to produce and process 1-1.5 million tonnes of tungsten ore a year and obtain 3,000-5,000 tonnes of tungsten trioxide in concentrated form. This project is included in the list of priority investment ones in the Far Eastern Federal District, although a timeframe for the construction of the factory has been mentioned so far.
At the Ariadna deposit of ilmenite, it is planned to produce 2-3 million tonnes of ores a year with the recovery of 150,000-250,000 tonnes of titanium oxide, 6,000 tonnes of vanadium oxide, and 100,000-250,000 tonnes of iron in concentrate.
Tirskikh said that, in all, preparation is under way to develop six ore clusters comprising eleven promising deposits in the territories of Dalnerechensk and Krasnoarmeisk municipal districts.
