LONDON, October 2. (Itar-Tass) – Occupy Wall Street activists, who proclaim to fight against financial injustice, are working on creation of their own international bank. The Times notes that “Two years after they camped in Zuccotti Park and marched against bankers and capitalism, members of the Occupy Wall Street movement are starting a bank.”

"The Occupy Money Cooperative aims to raise $900,000,  and will then start issuing debit cards, perfect for the anti-capitalist who wants to raise a fist against the filthy rich while still being able to shop with plastic. “Many will see the card as ‘a protest with every purchase’,” say the organisers, who include Carne Ross, a former British diplomat, and a former employee of Deutsche Bank,” the daily writes. The Occupy bank card will be using Visa, a system which belongs to one of largest American financial companies.
