Belarus’ Belaruskaliy asks Russia’s Sberbank to reschedule its debt

“We are looking at a possibility to reschedule the debt,” German Gref said

MOSCOW, September 20 (Itar-Tass) - Belarus’ potash company Belaruskaliy has asked Russia’s Sberbank to reschedule repayment of its one-billion-U.S. dollar loan, Sverbank CEO German Gref told journalists on Friday.

“We are looking at a possibility to reschedule the debt,” he said. Negotiations, in his words, had just started. “They asked us to reschedule loan payments.”
