Russian government to start talks over financial assistance to Abkhazia

The financial aid is supposed to ensure investments in the republic's socio-economic development program in 2013-2015

MOSCOW, July 9 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian government has decided to hold talks with Abkhazia over an agreement on financial assistance to the republic. According to the instruction published on the Cabinet's website, the proposal was brought forward by the Russian Regional Development Ministry and supported by the Foreign Ministry.

The agreement, to be signed between Russia's Regional Development Ministry and Abkhazia's Finance Ministry, stipulates financial aid to Abkhazia to ensure investments in the republic's socio-economic development program in 2013-2015.
