Microsoft may postpone suspension of cloud services in Russia until late March

Corporate subscriptions to Microsoft Teams, One Drive, Azure, and Office 365 will be blocked

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Microsoft is discussing postponement of the suspension of operation of its cloud services and data access from March 20 to the end of this month, Vice President of Softline Group of Companies Andrey Blagorazumov told TASS.

"We have just received information from Microsoft representatives through our own channels that the vendor has started discussions of postponing the deadline for suspension of services’ operation and data access from March 20 to the end of month, owing to the proactive position of Softline clients," the senior executive said.

Corporate subscriptions to Microsoft Teams, One Drive, Azure, and Office 365 will be blocked. This also covers all Excel versions and all web services, even free ones, Blagorazumov added.
