Putin admits to 'pleasant sense of pride' from ASI work

Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted that the work of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives gives him "a pleasant sense of pride," said he on Tuesday at the ASI Supervisory Council meeting, where the results of the agency’s work in 2018 are discussed. "This gives me such a pleasant sense of pride for you," he said,

Among the achievements of ASI, President Putin called the improvement of the legal framework and business conditions in the country support for more than 350 projects, as well as the implementation of voluntary social initiatives. "The agency has developed a unique mechanism for solving problems and, most importantly, has united around itself a whole community of people capable of generating and promoting positive changes," the head of state emphasized. According to him, ASI managed to create an infrastructure for interaction between participants, including in the format of the Club of Leaders, which brings together talented and energetic people. Putin added that ASI was able to build interaction with the Russian government and regional administration, which makes it possible to quickly advance key initiatives.
