Russian businessman Deripaska sold Glavstroi developer

The change of the shareholder took place in April 2018, which was not previously disclosed

MOSCOW, December 28. /TASS/. A change of shareholder took place in the Russian developer Glavstroi earlier associated with the Basic Element holding of Oleg Deripaska, the company’s press service told TASS on Friday. The change of the shareholder was the result of the asset sale and the company elected not to disclose the deal amount.

"Libra Holdings Limited Liability Company, with five individuals comprised in the group of members, is the new owner of Glavstroi Company. Each of them has a stake of 20% in the company," the press service said.

The change of the shareholder took place in April 2018; this fact was not disclosed earlier.

New shareholders will continue the previous strategy aimed at development business growth, implementation of current and launch of new urban development projects, and improvement of corporate performance, the company said.

According to data of the United Register of Developers, Glavstroi ranks sixth in terms of current construction in Russia. The company is building 1.2 mln square meters of housing spaces in Moscow, the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, and the Yaroslavl Region as of December 1, 2018. Company’s revenues from real estate sales surged by 40% to 23.5 bln rubles ($337.4 mln) as of the end of eleven months of 2018.
