Putin, Trump to agree upon establishment of working group for economic cooperation

Entrepreneurs know better how to build up mutually beneficial cooperation, the Russian leader noted

HELSINKI, July 16. /TASS/. Presidents of Russia and the United States agreed to set up a working group with participating business representatives of both countries for development of economic cooperation, head of the Russian state Vladimir Putin said at a press conference on Monday.

"To promote development of mutual trade and investments, President Trump and I agreed to establish a high-level group that will bring together captains of Russian and US business. Entrepreneurs know better how to build up mutually beneficial cooperation. Let them think what can be done and let them present proposals in this regard," Putin says.

Special attention was dedicated to the economy during talks and business communities of both countries definitely have interest to cooperate, the Russian president noted. The US delegation was also among the strongest at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in May, with more than 500 representatives of the US business in attendance, Putin added.
