Russia, China enhance interaction during computer-assisted missile defense drill

First Deputy of the Russian Aerospace Force Commander and Chief of Staff of China’s People's Liberation Army Air Force underscored a high level of Russian and Chinese servicemen’s training

MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. Russia and China have increased interaction of all levels of command during the Air and Space Security 2017 joint computer-assisted missile defense exercise that ended in Beijing on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press office said.

First Deputy of the Russian Aerospace Force Commander Lt Gen Pavel Kurachenko and Chief of Staff of China’s People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Lt Gen Ma Zhenjun, who both headed the drills, underscored a high level of Russian and Chinese servicemen’s training.

"In their speeches, the exercise’s heads emphasized that all the tasks set for both countries’ military specialists had been fulfilled. Interaction among all levels of command, from staffs to unit commanding officers, was raised to a qualitatively new level.".
