MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Russia’s TU-95MS Bear strategic bombers have competed a ten-hour flight from Indonesia to the Amur region, Russia’s Far East, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.

"On 9 December 2017, the crews of Tu-95MS strategic bombers made a flight from the Biak airfield (the Republic of Indonesia) to their base in the Amur region," the statement said.

During the mission, the TU-95MS bombers were refueled in mid-air over the Sea of Okhotsk by Il-78 tanker planes.

"The flight fully complied with international air legislation regulations, so third countries’ air space was not violated," the ministry said.
