MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. The Russian Aerospace Forces will get more than 900 new planes and helicopters by 2020, the first deputy commander of the forces, Lt. Gen. Pavel Kurachenko, said Tuesday.
"In line with the state procurement program until 2020, more than 900 new and modernized plane and helicopters are planned to be handed over to the Aerospace Forces, and more than 900 aircraft are scheduled to be repaired," the official said.
More than 140 missile systems and other military hardware, as well as over 600 new radar stations are also planned to be purchased.
