BENAULIM, October 15. /TASS/. Russia and India signed on Saturday a range of agreements in the military and technical area.

Among them are deals on supplies of S-400 Triumf missile systems, manufacturing frigates of Project 11356 for India’s Navy and establishment of a joint company on building Ka-226T helicopters.
The documents were signed after talks of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of both leaders.
A total of 18 documents were inked, including a statement on approaches to reaching global peace and stability.
The agreements on cooperation with India’s colleagues were signed by Russia’s Foreign Ministry, Energy Ministry, Economic Development Ministry, Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations, Rosneft, Gazprom, Russian Railways and Roscosmos.
