Industry ministry’s ex-official to lead civil aviation division in Russian aircraft major

MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Ravil Khakimov, ex-department director of the Russian Ministry of Industry, was appointed to the office of the President of the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA) corporation, SCA reports on Wednesday.

Khakimov will also head the civil aviation division in the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

"Ravil R. Khakimov was appointed as the new President of the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and will start discharging his responsibilities since April 10, 2019. The decision was made at the Board meeting of the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft on April 9, 2019," the company says.
