KUBINKA /Moscow Region/, August 23. /TASS/. The great number of contracts with foreign customers that will be signed soon is the main success of the forum Army-2018, said Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko on the television channel Zvezda live.

"Army-2018 is a major tool for the sales, promotion and advertisement of our weapons. There are ongoing negotiations with foreign delegations, and they are entering the final stage of the contracts already. This is the great success of this particular forum," he said.

According to Krivoruchko, the forum is gaining power with each year. "It becomes especially visible that there is much commercial work with foreign customers and customers from other agencies. The forum is becoming not just an exhibition venue, but a business one as well. It is definitely great success," the deputy defense minister noted.

The international military-technical forum Army-2018 is takin place in Kubinka, Moscow Region, on August 21-26.
