BELGOROD, April 25 (Itar-Tass) – Police have found Belgorod shooter Sergei Pomazun's arms.

Aide of the head of the investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee Yelena Kozyreva told Itar-Tass on Thursday that the gun was found not far from the site where the man was detained – near the railway station. A group of investigators and police went to the place. The arms will be seized for expert examinations, she said.

On April 22, at Narodny Boulevard in Belgorod, Pomazun opened fire at people in a store for hunters and then at passers-by outside. He killed six people. After shooting, he escaped in a car. He was detained at night on April 23. He was noticed when he attempted to go out of the cordoned zone. He intended to leave the zone in a freight car. When detained, Pomazun attacked policemen, seriously wounding one of them with a knife.

Criminal charges were brought against him on Wednesday. He is placed under arrest.
