MOSCOW, January 29 (Itar-Tass) – Over 90 passengers were evacuated from an A319 airbus in the airport of Russia’s southern city of Astrakhan over smoke in its baggage hold, a spokesman for the regional emergencies department told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“Smoke was reported from the baggage compartment of the A319 jet bound from Astrakhan to Moscow at 19:44 Moscow time, when the jet was waiting for its turn to take off.
