KRASNODAR, January 27 (Itar-Tass) – The strong wind and sleet left eight settlements with population over 9,000 without electricity, press service of the regional branch of Russia’s EMERCOM said on Sunday.
“At night, Kubanenergy’s dispatcher said due to unfavourable weather conditions electricity supplies were stopped to the Kushchevka and Shcherbinka regions,” the source said.
The incident left without electricity eight settlements. All socially important facilities still receive electricity.
The repairing works are underway in the regions.
