WASHINGTON, December 6 (Itar-Tass) — The Senate of the U.S. Congress has passed a bill on establishment of normal trade relations with Russia. Though the voting is still on, it’s already clear that over a half out of 100 senators have voted for removal of the Jackson-Vanik amendment.

Last month, the U.S. House of Representatives adopted the bill which, however, is linked to the so-called ‘Magnitsky Act’.

U.S. President Barack Obama will have to sign the bill now.
