US dollar up, euro down on MICEX trading session

The dollar's official exchange rate climbed against the rouble by two kopeks and totaled 30.75 roubles

MOSCOW, October 18 (Itar-Tass) The US dollar went up, euro and the dollar-euro basket plunged at the beginning of the unified trading session on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) on Thursday, MICEX’s report said.

The dollar's official exchange rate climbed against the rouble by two kopeks and totaled 30.75 roubles, the report said.

According to the MICEX, the official exchange rate of the euro lowered by seven kopecks to 40.17 rubles for one euro.

Proceeding from the report, the dollar-euro basket (0.55 dollar and 0.45 euro) plunged by three kopeks and totaled 35.04 roubles.
