Medvedev, governors to discuss preps for winter at video conf

Vice-Premiers Arkady Dvorkovich and Dmitry Kozak, and government ministers will also take part in the video conference

MOSCOW, September 26 (Itar-Tass) — Head of Government Dmitry Medvedev will hold a video conference on the preparation of the facilities of the power industry and the housing-and-utilities sector for the 2012-2013 autumn-and-winter period, with the governors of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation participating, a government press service official told Itar-Tass.

The video conference will include live stand-ups from Bryansk, Murmansk, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Tver, and Chelyabinsk regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Krasnodar and Primorsky Territories, with governors reporting their regions' preparedness for the coming winter. Special attention will be devoted to Krasnodar Territory that was hit by severe floods in summer this year, the press service official pointed out.
