MOSCOW, August 30 (Itar-Tass) — Russian tourists were hospitalized with minor and moderate injuries in Turkey’s Serik and Belek after a road accident on Wednesday evening, the press service of Russia’s federal travel agency Rostourism said on Thursday with reference to Turkish medics.
There is no threat to their lives, the source said.
On August 29 a road accident involving a bus with 21 Russian tourists took place in Antalya. As a result, one young woman died and eleven other tourists were injured.
“According to the Russian consulate-general in Antalya a truck driver strongly violated the traffic rules colliding with the bus. The truck driver died,” the source said.
