MOSCOW, July 6 (Itar-Tass) —— A board of trustees, with Russian Vice-Premier for Social Affairs Olga Golodets to be in charge, is set up this Friday for non-commercial and charity organizations. This was announced at the first board meeting on Friday.
"The board will be a bridge to link charity, trustees and the state, Golodets said.
"Non-commercial organizations proposed me to set up such a board," she said, adding that boards of trustees were present practically at all Russian social institutions.
The board will consist of 16 people, representatives of various charity non-commercial organizations. The trustees have an agenda for the next few months, she said.
The board will deal with aid for ill people and improvement of the state policy to provide help for orphans, disabled and elderly people.
When asked about the new law on NCOs, Golodets said that the board did not discuss the issue on Friday.
