Sberbank to open its new high-tech office on Russky Island

Russian and South Korean specialists developed a new type of an information and payment terminal that will be for the first time demonstrated on Russky Island

VLADIVOSTOK, June 4 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Sberbank (Savings Bank) will open its office with unique for the Far East equipment supplied by South Korea’s Nautilus Hyosung Corporation in the run-up the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, the press service of the bank’s Far Eastern office told Itar-Tass on Monday.

Many softwares are unique for Siberia and the Far East, as they allow to make contactless payments and carry out other banking operations through multimedia devices and remote access systems.

“Thus, a new office of Sberbank on Russky Island will be one of the country’s most high-tech branches,” the bank’s press service said.
