MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) — Sergei Udaltson, the coordinator of the opposition Left Front, has been released from hospital to continue his 15-day sentence at a detention ward, his wife wrote in her Twitter microblog on Tuesday.

Udaltson, who was on a dry hunger strike, was once again hospitalized from the detention ward after he felt sick several days before. Medics insisted that Udaltsov, who was suffering from fluid loss, should stop his dry hunger strike, and he promised to stop.

Udaltsov was detained on May 9 in the so-called “open-ended walkabout” in downtown Moscow. The court of justice found him guilty of disobeying police and sentenced to 15 days in custody. After that, he announced a dry hunger strike and afterwards was hospitalized several times. He is due to be released from custody overnight to May 24.
