TYUMEN, April 16 (Itar-Tass) — One of the survivors in a plane crash outside Tyumen has been discharged from hospital, spokeswoman for Tyumen region’s healthcare department Tatyana Sitnikova told Tass on Monday.
Two more patients are recovering. Seven people are still in the intensive care unit. The condition of five of them is stably grave, and two more patients are in a critical condition.
One of the survivors is undergoing medical treatment at Moscow’s Federal Centre of Traumatology and Orthopaedics. Medics say he is in a stable condition.
Thirty-one people, including the crew, were killed and 12 were injured when an ATR-72 plane operated by UTair went down shortly after it took off from Tyumen’s Roshchino Airport early on April 2.
The airliner was carrying 39 passengers and four crewmembers. The death toll of the ATR-72 airplane crash has reached 32 people, as an injured woman Lyudmila Volkova died at regional clinical hospital overnight to Thursday, April 12.
