MOSCOW, March 10 (Itar-Tass) — Nationalists tried to engineer a provocation near the Kievsky Railway Terminal in downtown Moscow, Itar-Tass learnt at the press service of the Moscow Police Department.
“Group of nationalistically-minded citizens made an attempt at a provocation in the square in front of the Kievsly Railway Terminal. It was quickly cut short by officers of Moscow police. A total of 35 people were detained and brought to a police precinct,” said a Tass source.
Earlier, an attempt at staging an unauthorized march by nationalists who left from the rally “For honest elections” in Novy Arbat, was stopped short. That group of nationalists was detained.
Incidentally, according to Itar-Tass, Dmitry Demushkin who tried to organize a march in Stary Arbat, was not detained in contrast to his nationalist buddies.
