MOSCOW, March 8 (Itar-Tass) – Moscow police have detained seven people in Red Square for an attempt to hold an unauthorized public action, a source at the press service of Moscow City’s Interior Department told Itar-Tass.
“The young people were detained Thursday afternoon and were taken to a local police station,” the source said.
Policemen set them free after a “proactive conversation”.
The young people who tried to hold the action of protest are activists of the oppositionist Solidarity movement.
