MOSCOW, March 1 (Itar-Tass) — Any citizen might get access to video materials recorded by web cameras at polling stations on the day of the presidential election. To get the video materials a citizen should apply to the Russian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications through the single Internet portal of state services or submit an application on paper, said member of the Central Election Commission Anton Lopatin on Thursday.

Every participant in the election process might submit an application and receive an address reference to the archives, Lopatin said. Everyone will have equal access, Lopatin stressed. We did our best to find a variant which suites everyone, he added.

Deputy head of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Ilya Massukh said that the quota was established, taking into account recommendations given by representatives of parties. "Certain technical restrictions have been envisaged as regards the volume of video materials available to a citizen," Massukh said. " One might ask for a video running for 500 years," he explained.

"We expect people to queue up for videos with the volume of around 72 hours handed out to every applicant," Massukh said. This volume is sufficient to see everything necessary, he added.
