Putin vows to fulfill all plans outlined in his election program

Presidential candidate Vladimir Putin promised to fulfill all the plans outlined in his articles published in the run-up to the presidential election

MOSCOW, February 29 (Itar-Tass) —— Presidential candidate Vladimir Putin promised to fulfill all the plans outlined in his articles published in the run-up to the presidential election. Putin spoke at a meeting with his electioneers and representatives of the United People's Front on Wednesday.

"All the formulated priorities are no pre-election rhetoric," Putin stressed." We have never made empty promises, but we were always very reserved and proceeded from a conservative view of development. We have all the grounds to believe now that all we have planned will be fulfilled," Putin said.

President Medvedev has been conducting a conference with the economic block of the government to discuss concrete steps for the realization of these plans, Putin said. Direct instructions for the ministries are being prepared on all the points of our program, on all the priorities voiced in the pre-election articles, Putin said. "A roadmap" will be formulated in all the key directions, Putin declared. "No one will be permitted to leave something out or impose any bureaucratic hurdle," Putin warned.

Putin reminded of a recent rally in his support held at Luzhniki stadium in Moscow. "All the participants in the rally share a common wish to promote Russia's development and save Russia. There is absolutely no wish to divide our society, cheat, defame our country. On the contrary, we should mobilize the best we have, preserve the country, create conditions for its constructive development," Putin declared.
