Import of Russian oil products won’t drop in 2012

There will be no drop of oil and oil products imports to Kazakhstan from Russia in 2012

ASTANA, February 21 (Itar-Tass) —— There will be no drop of oil and oil products imports to Kazakhstan from Russia in 2012, Minister of Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbayev of the republic told journalists on Tuesday.

According to the minister, this year's total volumes amount to 1.6 million tons of light oil products and seven million tons of crude oil. “This is the same level,   which recorded was last year,” he stressed.

At the same time, Mynbayev said that a bilateral agreement on supplies has not been ratified yet, “the schedule of supplies is coordinated verbally.”

According to the minister’s information, the bilateral agreement is to be ratified in the near future.
